In this work I don’t give up myself to nature, but I insert wilderness into the urban cityscape. With the help of smuggled natural material I transform a suite of the Hilton hotel in Frankfurt into a forest’s clearing for a night. Real roll-on turf, small trees and a tent signify “canned nature” for the successful businessman who lives out his longing for true physical experience with candlelight, instant soup and bird’s twitter from a MacBook in front of Frankfurt’s skyline.
